Presumptive Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump gave a speech on Wednesday from his New York City hotel and attacked Hillary Clinton, labeling her a “world-class liar” and implicated that she used her position in politics for personal profit.
He said Clinton “perfected the politics of personal profit” and “doesn’t have the temperament … or the judgment to be president.”
The New York millionaire used Clinton’s record to attack her, and called for Bernie Sanders’ supporters to support him in changing the “rigged process.”
“The insiders wrote the rules of the game to keep themselves in power and in the money,” Trump said. “That’s why we’re asking Bernie Sanders’ voters to join our movement so together we can fix the system for all Americans. Importantly, this includes fixing all of our many disastrous trade deals.”
Trump also blamed Clinton’s foreign policy for the creation of the Islamic State terrorist group.
“The Hillary Clinton’s foreign policy has cost America thousands of lives and trillions of dollars – and unleashed ISIS across the world,” Trump said. “No Secretary of State has been more wrong, more often and in more places than Hillary Clinton. Her decisions spread death, destruction and terrorism everywhere she touched.”
Trump has said many times that Clinton is influenced by the lobbyist and foreign governments who have lined her pockets for years.
“They totally own her and that will never, ever change,” he said.
He added that she “took millions from Kuwait, Qatar, Oman and many other countries that horribly abuse women and LGBT citizens.”
