Donald Trump recently gave an interview while visiting his golf course in Aberdeenshire, Scotland, and defended his immigrations policies, claiming that he doesn’t plan on banning all Muslims, just those coming from countries with ties to terrorists.
The presumptive Republican nominee claims his immigration policies would have “heart”.
“President Obama has mass deported vast numbers of people — the most ever, and it’s never reported. I think people are going to find that I have not only the best policies, but I will have the biggest heart of anybody,” Trump said.
When asked if he would announce “mass deportations,” Trump answered: “No, I would not call it mass deportations.”
In the immigration plan Trump release in 2015, he plans on building a wall along the border of Mexico and the U.S. and has said that he will deport all undocumented immigrants, estimated at 11 million.
“We are going to get rid of a lot of bad dudes who are here,” he said. “That I can tell you.”
Trump told reporters on Saturday that he plans on banning people from “terrorist countries” and if he’s elected he plans “a total and complete shutdown of Muslims entering the United States.”
“I want terrorists out. I want people that have bad thoughts out. I would limit specific terrorist countries and we know who those terrorist countries are,” Trump said.
