Jeff Bezos’ Editorial Board at the Washington Post is complaining that there aren’t enough Americans who want to work low-end jobs, so the government needs to import more foreign replacements. “Typically the [immigrants] do jobs – tending crops, washing dishes, mowing lawns – that native-born Americans do not want,” the Post claimed. The Post’s authors are so out of touch they don’t realize that Americans have willingly done those jobs for more than 300 years, and that millions of Americans have gone on a virtual strike because low-end wages are already too low nationwide.
Speaking with Breitbart News, Bezos confirmed his position on the issue, adding that “at the end of the day, everybody’s complaining about the economy when, in reality, they’re just lazy and there are plenty of jobs to go around.” “You know, the economy was in recession since 2008, that’s true and there’s no denying it. But, the fact that everybody, and mostly lazy, white Americans are constantly on about – how they can’t get a well-paid job – that’s just not true. There are plenty of jobs out there for those who wish to work; the problem with lazy, white Americans is that they’d like someone else to do the work, and they to just get paid for nothing,” he argued.
Bezos then went on to say that “such a mindset is hurting the overall economy of the country,” as well as that “it has significant consequences on the national budget, debt and an entire plethora of other important factors that affect the everyday lives of millions of Americans.” “So, essentially, what we have here is a situation where a group of spoiled, lazy, mostly white people who have yet to grow up and realize what it means to be an adult, is directly influencing the lives of countless Americans because they refuse to do the jobs they feel are beneath them. In doing so, they are effectively hurting the entire national economy of the United States. And why? Because they’re lazy,” he added.
Asked about a possible solution to the situation, Bezos argued that, in addition to importing cheap workers from abroad “who aren’t afraid to work low-end jobs,” the American society would most likely “be better off without” lazy, white Americans. “I know it’s going to sound a bit extreme, but at the end of the day, the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few,” he opined. “I say we round them all up, and we deport them to the country of their choosing, where they can continue doing nothing and be someone else’s concern. Because this way they’re just deadweight, they collectively represent a body mass that amounts to zero productivity and isn’t contributing anything to the great country we live in.”
“It’s simple – if you want to be an American, you have to get up every day and work your ass off and contribute something to your country. And it doesn’t matter what it is as long as you’re creating some sort of value and you’re adding it to the greater cause. And if we aim to go forward as a country, we need hard workers, not people who just exist inertly. And if foreigners want to work and work hard, then I’m sorry to say it, but that’s the kind of people we need to have here. Actually, it’d be best if we could just import us a couple million Japanese, those guys are real worker bees. But, you know, we’ll take whatever we can get, no complaints,” Bezos concluded.
