follow Omar Mateen called the police to pledge his fealty to ISIS as he was carrying out his mass murder in Orlando early Sunday. Twelve hours later, the president of the United States declared that “we have no definitive assessment on the motivation” of Omar Mateen, but that “we know he was a person filled with hate.” Here again, there is an unmistakable indication that President Obama finds it astonishingly easy to divorce himself from a reality he doesn’t like – a reality of the Islamist terror war against America.
Keeping that in mind, it almost comes as no surprise at all that the commander in chief of the most feared military machinery on the planet would allow himself to believe that “the real danger to America” are armed white Christians. Because, judging by his most recent comments, “the fact that we need stricter gun laws is just as obvious as the fact that the Orlando massacre would not have happened if that were the case.” What’s more, the president also told media outlets that “the entire state of Florida is drowning in Tea Party terrorists.”
“I don’t know if anyone has looked the state of things in Florida recently,” Obama said. “I don’t know what kind of show Marco Rubio is trying to run down there, but the place is virtually brimming with terrorists, and domestic ones, at that. The Tea Party gun-loving, freedom-praising members are the majority there, everybody knows that. And guess what? The gun laws down there aren’t that strict, which means, using their own logic, those poor people in that Orlando nightclub should have been able to carry guns and should have been able to survive because of it. And what happened? They didn’t, unfortunately.”
“And that only proves what I’ve been saying all along: Republicans don’t have a clue about anything, least of all gun control and its consequences,” the President blasted away. “So don’t tell me that we need more guns in the streets of Florida and the streets of America. Because that is not true. In fact, what we need in Florida right now are some Syrian refugees. Yes, I did just say that out loud. We need to settle some Syrian refugees throughout Florida so that they balance out the armed and trigger-happy white Christians.”
The President also added, “Because, in case you haven’t heard me the first two thousand times, I’ll say it again: we have no one but ourselves to blame for ISIS, for Islamic radicalism, for Muslim terrorists. It’s our own fault. More precisely, the real danger to this country are armed white Christians and their notions of living in an ethnically clean country. Because that is never going to happen, by default. And in order to get it through their thick skulls, we are going to import us some friendly, peaceful Syrians, and we’re going to settle them in and around Florida. Then we’ll see if we’ll have more lone-wolf terrorist attacks or less. Good luck with having more guns when that happens.”
